Steph is a highly experienced training and development consultant, who has designed, delivered and evaluated a wide variety of management development programmes for senior and middle managers. She is also an executive and career coach.
Prior to launching Harman Consulting, Steph worked for over 15 years in senior strategic management roles in large complex organisations going through dynamic and extensive change. She has developed and implemented a diverse range of organisational development strategies and projects, and designed, facilitated and evaluated a wide variety of management development programmes, workshops and seminars.
Her main areas of interest and expertise include Leadership Development, Change Management, Project Leadership, Strategic Management, Creativity and Innovation, Systems Thinking, and Coaching.
For a number of years, Steph tutored on the Open University Business School MBA 'Creative Management' Residential School; and tutored on the Diploma in Management 'Managing People' and 'Managing Development and Change' programmes; and she designed and developed an open learning Diploma in Management programme for a large County Council, accredited by the University of Reading. Her early career includes Business and Management Studies tutor in a College of Further Education; and Front of House management in the Hotel industry.
Steph’s distinctive approach is business focussed and collaborative, working closely with clients on the real issues and challenges facing them, and developing approaches and solutions that reflect their organisation’s vision, values and culture.
Her excellent facilitation skills have been developed on a wide variety of programmes, and she also has coached senior leaders and managers in diverse contexts and situations.
Her qualifications include: An MBA from a leading Business School BA Degree Certificate of Education with Commendation
She has also undertaken Continuous Professional Development on senior management programmes, including Ashridge Management School, Cranfield University, Warwick Business School, and Bramshill Police College.
Steph is a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development, and has been a member since 1988.
