Phillip Boaden pursued a successful career in business and management until a decision was made to change direction for something more rewarding. Kobi Co operated whilst Phillip returned to university as a mature student to read architecture.
Kobi Co has developed a word of mouth reputation for excellent, high quality design. Although the client base has generally been domestic customers, for whom Kobi Co have designed extensions to complete homes and landscapes, commissions for work have also come from the education, retail, health and leisure sectors. Kobi Co also carries out work on behalf of architects in the Beverley area.
Kobi Co continues to break the hold traditional construction methods have in the market with the utilisation of environmentally friendly, passive energy, carbon neutral building techniques to minimize the use of valuable resources.

The building work is now completed and I wanted to write to thank you for the work you have carried out on this project.
The transformation is amazing and has far exceeded my expectations. As you know I like entertaining people and I was always happy with the upstairs on this house, but felt the downstairs rooms were too small for easy entertaining. Now I have a layout which accommodates all my needs.
I had my own ideas on what I wanted to achieve, you listened and then went away and came up with a plan which included my preferences but added better ideas to that.
The kitchen is much better laid out, and the open plan dining area is great for entertaining as I can talk to my guests whilst finishing off the meal, as they sit in comfort in the sitting area. People walk in and say “Wow” every time. They are particularly impressed with the huge folding doors to the garden, and how light it is. The men all want to play with the roof opening mechanism.
Your concepts were great and the new corridor to the utility room was a brilliant idea. I can hide away all the debris from a dinner party until I am ready to tackle it.
So thank you for the transformation, I love it and so do others. I have had an estate agent look at it and he was impressed and confirms the investment means that if in the future I want to sell I will get a good price, and it will sell very easily.
